	After a lengthy career as a graphics designer–art director working for ad agencies, I began painting in a variety of media, but preferred watercolor. I began sculpting in 1967. Once I discovered the versatility of working in three dimensions I abandoned paper, canvas and brushes in favor of stone, wood and chisels.
		I work primarily in these natural materials. I have explored clay, metal and plastic, experimenting in a variety of styles. Moving from realism to abstraction and a combination of both.
